New Budget CD Set From Germany



A new budget cd set has been released in Germany by the Membran label.

It is called "Don't Be Cruel" and contains 96 well known Elvis songs of the 50s on four cds, including the 1957 Gospel and Christmas material.

It's been a little quiet on the budget front lately ...

'Elvis A Portrait In Music' All-time classic-album New CD Release




We are very proud to announce a new Limited Edition (500 copies) factory pressed silver CD. For many, mostly European fans, this album was their first introduction to Elvis´ music. The album was re-released many times and sold millions of copies worldwide. The original album was first released in 1968 in Germany, but after Elvis´ passing in 1977 it hit the charts again in many countries.

It's a shame that RCA never released this album on CD. But finally it´s here now. We are sure that, if only for sentimental reasons, many Elvis fans are happy to have this classic album in their CD collection. But there are more reasons to treasure this new release. Of course this CD contains the original album in brilliant sound quality, taken from the latest remastered master tapes, but also various b-sides from the hit singles ( European / US releases), including hard to find outtakes (many of them not even available on FTD) and 2 unreleased takes, unavailable elsewhere. Three new European Elvis budget CDs



Three new Elvis budget cds are available, all of them released in Europe during the first week of July, 2010. "Golden Greats, Volume 1" and "Golden Greats, Volume 2" come from the "Play 24-7" label, while "Only! Elvis Presley" was released in France by "Naive". All of these albums contain the well-known Public Domain 50s material only, due to copyright reasons.
